As part of a large‑scale global transformation, a world‑leading FMCG company has partnered with Infosys to redesign and elevate its Global Business Services (GBS) to world‑class standards. To support this journey, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Credit Management Lead to join the Greenfield GBS team in Bucharest. As the Credit Management Lead, you are responsible for translating global credit strategies into effective regional execution. You will oversee market performance, ensure compliance with policies, and act as the primary link between global governance and local market realities.

Operating from a reginal hub location, this role is accountable for defining and embedding credit policies, governance models, and risk appetite, ensuring a strong balance between revenue growth, working capital optimization, and bad debt minimization.
You will function as the strategic partner to business and market leadership, working closely with country sales, finance teams, and 3PSPs to enable data-driven, timely, and risk-informed credit decisions. The role also plays a critical part in transforming credit operations through digitization, analytics, and automation, ensuring scalable and efficient processes across geographies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Regional Execution & Governance
    • Implement global credit policies and collections strategies across the region;
    • Ensure consistent application of credit frameworks across markets;
    • Monitor regional KPIs, credit exposure, and collections performance.
  2. Market & Stakeholder Interface
    • Act as the primary interface between global teams and markets;
    • Ensure policies are effectively embedded and followed locally;
    • Address region-specific requirements through structured policy adaptations.
  3. Team & 3PSP Oversight
    • Lead and manage Credit Analysts and Credit Support teams;
    • Oversee 3PSP performance and operational adherence;
    • Ensure SLA, quality, and compliance standards are met.
  4. Risk Management & Escalation
    • Identify and manage regional risks and control gaps;
    • Escalate strategic issues and propose improvements to global leadership;
    • Drive issue resolution and performance improvement actions.
  5. Continuous Improvement & Digital Enablement
    • Drive process standardization and automation (SAP FSCM, credit scoring tools);
    • Enhance analytics-driven decision making;
    • Support transformation initiatives within O2C.


Experiences & Qualifications
  • University degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields;
  • 15+ years in Credit Risk / O2C / Finance;;
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, SAP-FSCM, credit frameworks, and financial analytics
  • Experience in a Global Business Services (GBS) or shared services environment is highly preferred;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical IT requirements and business-facing customer service needs.
