As part of a large‑scale global transformation, a world‑leading FMCG company has partnered with Infosys to redesign and elevate its Global Business Services (GBS) to world‑class standards. To support this journey, we are seeking an Operational Excellence Lead (GBS), who will drive process optimization across GBS Centers and value streams. He or she will support the CI lead and Ops/GPO in the development of the strategy for Continuous Improvement, as well as prioritization of initiatives based on their impact on business value/customer experience, and efficiency. It’s a meaningful position for the organization’s future strategy.

Your tasks in detail:

  • Drive a mindset of continuous improvement as a culture in the organization;
  • Support to deliver operational efficiencies, process standardization and harmonization;
  • Champion ESSA (Elimination/Simplification/Standardizations/Automation) opportunity identification;
  • Provide coaching on Lean-Six-Sigma / process re-engineering projects and help successfully implement;
  • Support to build up a continuous improvement training program;
  • Leverage the Train-The-Trainer program to deliver continuous improvement training to the center;
  • Continuous Improvement of event design and promotion;
  • Support best practice sharing across operations/value streams;
  • Operations Centre Leads;
  • Functional GBS Operations teams;
  • Global process owner;
  • GBS Delivery Excellence Global Team.
Skills you need to be part of the team:
  • Very good English Language skills (oral and written);
  • Comprehensive understanding of E2E processes in Global Business Services;
  • Having 12+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the area of end-to-end process improvement and/or process standardization in Finance/HR/Procurement;
  • Extensive experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies (both theoretical and practical application), LEAN/DFSS/DMAIC. SPSS modelling is preferred;
  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex situations and develop innovative solutions within a changing environment;
  • Automation project experience;
  • Strong data analysis and RCA capability;
  • Experience in providing clear guidance and instructions to operational teams and coaching;
  • Complete familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools;
  • Knowledge of SAP FI and CO is a plus;
  • Virtual team management skills;
  • University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in accounting or business administration;
  • Six Sigma Black Belt as plus;
