Currently we are looking for a candidate for the position of:
SAP S/4HANA / Fiori Apps Finance Consultant/Subject Matter Expert
Location: Infosys Poland Sp. z o.o. Łódź - hybrid
Role purpose
Enable end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations as an SME, translating complex requirements into compliant, Fiori‑enabled process and system designs.
Drive process, data, and quality excellence across testing, rollout, and hyper care, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Support full SAP implementation life cycle, from design through testing and hyper care, while providing subject matter expertise in the build and deployment phases.
- Blueprinting/Requirements Gathering – Act as SME and liaison between technical teams, project stakeholders, and business users to capture functional, regulatory (Tax, Legal & Statutory), and reporting requirements in multi‑country environments.
- Process Analysis – Analyze Finance (RTR, OTC, PTP and FP&A) business processes and perform fit-gap analysis against SAP best practices to identify inefficiencies, risks, and compliance gaps.
- Global Process Ownership – Act as Finance Process Owner, ensuring alignment with group and statutory requirements.
- Solution Design – Design compliant future‑state processes in SAP S/4HANA, integrating Fiori apps functionality; translate legal and statutory requirements into system design.
- Process Management – Maintain structured as‑is vs. to‑be Finance & Accounting process inventories, addressing cross‑stream dependencies and rollout readiness
- Data Cleansing & Transformation –Aid in preparation and transformation of vendor, customer, product, and other finance master data.
- Data & Process Impact Analysis – Assess how master data design and quality affect invoice processing, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Test Design – Design SIT, UAT, and regression tests for complex end‑to‑end scenarios, including consolidation mappings and cross‑stream financial impacts.
- Test & Quality Assurance – Coordinate the execution of unit, integration, and UAT testing across finance scenarios to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and rollout readiness.
- Training & Documentation – Produce structured documentation and deliver training to enable business understanding of new processes and regulatory designs.
- Defect Management & Change Support – Define defects, support change requests, articulate business cases, and validate fixes through testing.
- Continuous Improvement – Drive continuous improvement through process reviews, identification of efficiency and compliance gaps, and adaptation to evolving business and regulatory needs.
- Knowledge & Reporting – Deliver audit‑ready process documentation and define automation and quality KPIs to support informed decision‑making.
- Estimate post‑go‑live resourcing impacts and perform risk assessments and gap analyses ahead of phased rollouts.
- Provide hyper care support as first point of contact, facilitate post‑go‑live workshops, help resolve production issues, and recommend process and control improvements.
Required experience & skills- 8–10+ years of hands-on experience in Finance and 5+ in SAP implementations (functional in Finance), incl. at minimum 2 years in S/4HANA
- Strong process expertise in Finance (PTP, OTC, RTR and FP&A depending on focus)
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori apps and integration concepts
- Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
- Experience with Scrum/Agile delivery
- Multiple end-to-end S/4HANA implementation cycles would be asset
- F&A or project management studies/additional course would be an asset
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Good communication and strong stakeholder management in matrix organizations
