Job description

Location: Bucharest

Key responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Specialist supports daily end‑to‑end supply chain activities to ensure products, materials, and information flow efficiently across procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution processes. The role focuses on operational execution, data accuracy, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.

Supply & Demand Support

  • Assist with collecting, validating, and updating demand and supply data;
  • Monitor stock levels and flag potential shortages or excess inventory;
  • Update planning tools and systems with accurate order and forecast information.
Procurement & Supplier Coordination
  • Raise purchase orders and track order status with suppliers;
  • Ensure timely delivery by following up on delays, discrepancies, or missing documentation;
  • Maintain supplier records, pricing updates, and delivery metrics.
Inventory Management
  • Perform regular inventory reconciliation and support cycle counts;
  • Maintain accurate ERP/warehouse system data;
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and support corrective actions.

Logistics & Distribution Support

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and warehouses;
  • Prepare shipping documentation (delivery notes, customs forms, labels);
  • Monitor shipment tracking and update stakeholders on delivery timelines.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain supply chain databases, spreadsheets, and documentation;
  • Generate weekly/monthly performance reports (inventory, delivery accuracy, stock levels);
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, and Customer Service teams to resolve daily operational issues;
  • Provide timely updates on supply chain status to stakeholders;
  • Support new product launches with data updates, material readiness, and logistics coordination.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience);
  • Advanced Turkish language proficiency;
  • English languages to a business level proficiency;
  • Strong Excel or data management skills;
  • Experience with ERP or supply chain systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.);
  • Good communication and organizational skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or planning (1–3 years);
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics processes;
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation.
