Currently we are looking for a candidate for the position of:
Fixed Assets Expert
Location: Lodz - hybrid

Responsibilities:
Evaluate investment applications and purchase requisitions to determine eligibility or obligation for capitalization in line with IFRS and HGB.
Maintain fixed asset records in SAP, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, capitalization, and depreciation runs.
Coordinate with cost center owners to confirm operational readiness of investment projects and Assets under Construction (AuC) and ensure correct recording in SAP.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities within fixed assets accounting, including preparation of the statement of changes in fixed assets in cooperation with local accounting teams.
Support asset inventory activities as required.
Act as a subject matter expert, responding to business requests and advising stakeholders on fixed assets–related accounting topics.
Participate in finance transformation and process improvement projects

Requirements:
4+ years of experience in the Finance & Accounting area, including at least 2 years in Fixed Assets
Solid understanding of Fixed Assets accounting principles
Good command of English (minimum B2 level)
Working knowledge of SAP
Higher education in Accounting / Finance; additional accounting courses will be an advantage
Very good communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem solving
Strong teamwork mindset
Openness to work in a hybrid model (50% office / 50% remote)
